Talking to your doctor about the service is critical to caring for the health of your child.
We strongly suggest waiting until after the first trimester, at which point when there is essentially little to no risk.
Changes in hormone levels of expecting mothers can also lead to increased sensitivity of the skin, which pregnant clients should be aware of. We are happy to test the solution we will use on a small area of your skin and wait to see if a reaction occurs. Following these simple tips will help to ensure that your experience goes smoothly, not only delivering you a gorgeous tan, but also protecting the health of yourself and your unborn child.
Spray tanning is also safe for breastfeeding mothers. However, we do advise you to pump prior to your appointment to avoid transferring the tanning solution to the face of your baby after being sprayed. If spray transfer occurs you should wipe away the topical bronzer from the baby's face using a baby wipe. Breastfeeding mothers may also choose to spray wearing a covering (i.e. pasties) or apply a barrier cream.
